The Muslim Students Federation (MSF) is the Kerala state based students' organisation affiliated to the Indian Union Muslim League. The Muslim Students Federation was officially started at 1 September 1937 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.^{[citation needed]} The first National Committee was formed at 28 February 1942.^{[citation needed]} The MSF First National Conference was held at Palakkad, Kerala, on 17 December 2016. T. P. Asharafali was elected as the National President, Adv. Fathima Thahiliya as the National Vice President, and S. H. Muhammed Arshad as the National General Secretary.^{[2][self-published source?] [3][4]}

Vision[]

The Muslim Students Federation upholds the vision of the late Qaide Millath M. Muhammad Ismail Sahib who master-minded the political movement of the minorities of India for their honorable existences. Muslim Students Federation prepares the students to carry on the mission of making a vibrant community participate in the nation-building activities. It gives paramount importance to education as a way of liberation and also as a solution to social deprivations and evils. Muslim Students Federation emphasizes the need for communal amity and secular solidarity to save guard the rich composite culture of our great nation and also thrives to attain competency and excellence in all the spheres of national life. Muslim Students Federation envisages programs of action to uplift the community from social and educational backwardness. The MSF has strong presence and networks in States of Kerala, Tamil Nadu,^[5] Karnataka, Assam, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, West Bengal, Bihar and Union Territory of Delhi and Puducherry.

CAA Protests[]

The Muslim Students Federation organized Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests on 23 December 2019 in Kozhikode Beach to Muthalakkulam. Thousands of students belonging to the MSF took part in a rally titled Desh Hamara.^[6][7] The students marched chanting slogans against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and holding placards. Earlier, the valedictory meeting of the state conference of the MSF was inaugurated at Kozhikode Beach by the IUML national general secretary, P. K. Kunhalikutty.

• Ensure the representation of the student community in various forums, academic and otherwise, to make it helpful to improve their lot.
• Equip the students with a religious way of life and inculcate in them the values of peaceful coexistence and secular outlook.
• Agitate for, and safeguard, the educational rights of minorities and other deprived sections.^[12]

• Formulate various programs to ensure friendship and camaraderie among students and to motivate them to attain excellence and all-round efficiency.
