Narula Institute of Technology (NiT) is an autonomous private degree engineering college in West Bengal, India, situated in Agarpara, Kolkata.[1] The college is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). It is one of seven colleges under the JIS Group, a Sikh minority group and a member of Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI).[2]

Admission[]

Admission for B. Tech. courses is held through WBJEE and JEE Main. Admission for M. Tech. courses is held through GATE and PGET.[1]

Affiliations[]

The college is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).[4] It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the years 2015–2016,[5] accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a "B" grade until the end of 2019,[6] and some of the courses also have National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accreditation for the year 2018 or 2019.[7]
