Neuraxial blockade

Neuraxial anesthesia refers to local anesthetics placed around the nerves of the central nervous system, such as spinal anesthesia, , and epidural anesthesia.^[1] The technique is used in surgery, obstetrics, and for postoperative and chronic pain relief.^[2]
