The Nicolau Lobato Presidential Palace (Portuguese: Palácio Presidencial Nicolau Lobato, Tetum: Palásiu Prezidensiál Nicolau Lobato) is the official residence of the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

History[]

Opened on August 27, 2009, it was a work of the Chinese[1] for the East Timor government. It honors Nicolau Lobato, an East Timorese national hero. Formerly the President was based at the Palácio das Cinzas.[2]
