Nová Olešná is a village and municipality (obec) in Jindřichův Hradec District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 7.23 square kilometres (2.79 sq mi), and has a population of 101 (as at 28 August 2006).

Nová Olešná lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Jindřichův Hradec, 55 km (34 mi) north-east of České Budějovice, and 115 km (71 mi) south-east of Prague.
