Nrupatunga city bus service is a government run public transport bus service in Gulbarga (Kalaburagi) city, in the Indian state of Karnataka.[2][3]

The Nrupatunga city bus service operated by the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation a government transport Corporation owned by Government of Karnataka.[4]

History[]

The service was introduced by the NEKRTC on 18 October 2012 with 17 buses and 290 schedules, and covering a distance of 53.4 km.[5]

Rashtrakuta service[]

NEKRTC started the service between Sedam and Gulbarga city, under the name Rashtrakuta service, as Malkhed in Sedam Taluk was the capital of the Rashtrakuta Kingdom.[6]
