"Nygammal vals" ("New, yet familiar, waltz") was the Swedish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 in Luxembourg. It was sung in Swedish by Lill Lindfors and Svante Thuresson, composed by Bengt-Arne Wallin and written by  [sv]. The lyrics are a humorous adaptation of the fairy tale "The Swineherd" by Hans Christian Andersen.^[1] In Luxembourg, Lindfors and Thuresson were joined on stage by the American jazz musician Sahib Shihab playing the flute.

Performing 10th on the night, following Austria's Udo Jürgens with "Merci Chérie" and preceding Spain's Raphael with "Yo soy aquél", they finished 2nd with 16 points in a field of 18, making it Sweden's best result in the contest until ABBA won with "Waterloo" at the 1974 contest.

It was succeeded as Swedish representative at the 1967 contest by Östen Warnerbring by "Som en dröm".
