Ohio Township is one of nine townships in Spencer County, Indiana, U.S.A. As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,306 and it contained 2,287 housing units.[3] Ohio Township contains the city of Rockport.

History[]

Ohio Township was first settled in about 1818.[4]

Geography[]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 68.16 square miles (176.5 km2), of which 67.63 square miles (175.2 km2) (or 99.22%) is land and 0.54 square miles (1.4 km2) (or 0.79%) is water.[3]
