Oke Oka Jeevitham was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Kanam.[9] The film marks Amala Akkineni's return to Tamil cinema after 31 years.[10] The motion poster was released on 15 July 2021, followed by the teaser on 29 December 2021, both opening to a generally warm response from the critics as well as the audience.[11][12] While the teaser was launched by Suriya,[13] the film's first single, the 'Amma Song', was launched by Akhil Akkineni.[7][8] The lyrics to the song were penned by the legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry and is believed to be one of his last songs, before his unfortunate demise.[14]

Release[]

In November 2021, the film was announced to be released in February 2022.[15]
