Orestes of Macedon (Ancient Greek: Ὀρέστης ὁ Μακεδών, Oréstēs ho Makedōn) was the son[1] of Archelaus I and succeeded in his minority as king after his father was slain.[2] He reigned between 399–396 BC under his guardian Aeropus II, who killed him.[2] Aeropus thereafter reigned alone until 394 BC.
