Paal is a village in the southwest Netherlands. It is a part of the municipality of Hulst, Zeeland, and is located 35 km north of Antwerp, Belgium.

In 2001, the village of Paal had 58 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.033 km², and contained 54 residences.[1] The statistical area "Paal", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 80.[2]
