Palnati Puli (transl. Tiger of Palnadu) is a 1984 Indian Telugu-language action film, produced by Gogineni Prasad under the Sai Chakra Productions banner and directed by Tatineni Prasad. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bhanupriya and music composed by Chakravarthy.[2]
Plot[]
Raju (Nandamuri Balakrishna) a rickshaw driver always confronts the misdeeds of two malicious, Mukundam (Jaggaiah) an advocate, and his brother-in-law Bhupathi (Satyanarayana) who makes several malpractices in the town. Raju also squabbles with Bhupathi's daughter Rani (Bhanu Priya) and later they fell in love. Knowing it, Bhipathi tracks the background of Raju and finds out him as the son of Parvati (Prameela) wife of their henchmen Kannaiah (Gokkina Rama Rao) who is presently in jail. Hence, they ploy and acquit Kannaiah when he assaults Parvati and denounces Raju as he is born his presence in Jail. Even Parvati affirm it as a fact when Raju gets startled. Later Kannaiah re-attacks Raju while Parvati is injured. Thereby, she divulges Raju the actually that she is his foster mother. indeed, his birth mother Sarada (Anita) one that deceived by Mukundam and also seeks to slaughter her in which he is severely injured. During that plight, she entrusted the responsibility of baby Raju to Parvati. Here, as a surprise, Raju spots Sarada alive and disfigured due to burns. Thereupon, he pledges on his mother that he will make Mukundam accept her as his wife. So, Raju turns as a violent ‘’Palnati Puli’’ and create hurdles to them, with the help of Rani. Further, Raju reforms Kannaiah too. Parallelly, Mukundam learns the facts, who complots by putting fire to Raju’s colony. Therefore, Raju flares-up, and when he is verge to kill Mukundam Sarada obstructs and saves him. Finally, Mukundam realizes her virtue and accepts her as his wife.
