Pantera Capital is an American hedge fund[1][2][3] that specializes in cryptocurrencies.[4][5]

The firm was founded in 2003 by Dan Morehead (ex Tiger Management).[6]

In 2013, it launched the first investment fund focused on Bitcoin in the United States.[3][4][7] As of May 2020, Pantera had $500 million in assets under management.[5]
