The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Science, Research and Innovation (also known as Science Minister) is a junior position in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in the British government. It was created by the Second Johnson ministry out of the Minister of State for Universities and is currently held by George Freeman who took the office on 17 September 2021.[1]
