Pashi (Hazara tribe)

The Pashi are a tribe belonging to the Hazara; they are found Jaghori and Malistan districts.[1] Some of the clans that make up Pashi tribe are: Chihilbaghtoie Pashi, Jaka-Pashi, Qabjoi, Pai Julga, Shab Bakhair, Bopal, Nawe-Pashi, Payik, Ulyad, Dadi, Zingar. It is important to note that, each clan is made of several large families with a common ancestor. Pashi tribe, and its neighbouring tribes believe that Pashi are descendants of Genghis Khan’s Mongol warriors [1]
