Stephanie De Landre is an Australian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where she performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Persia Pirotta, and is one-half of the tag team with Indi Hartwell. She is also a former member of The Way. She began her career under the name FaceBrooke. Before signing with WWE, Pirotta had previously been signed to Melbourne City Wrestling and Newcastle Pro Wrestling.

Early life[]

Pirotta was born in Melbourne, Victoria and raised in Avalon, New South Wales, a northern suburb of Sydney.[5] She is of Maltese descent.[6]

Career[]

It was reported on March 14, 2021, Steph De Lander was one of two Australian wrestlers signed by WWE. Under the ring name Persia Pirotta, she made her NXT debut as the close friend of Indi Hartwell who had come all the way from Australia for Hartwell's wedding with Dexter Lumis.[7] On the October 12 episode of NXT, Persia teamed with Hartwell in a tag match against Amari Miller & Sarray. On October 26 during the NXT: Halloween Havoc television special, Pirotta and Hartwell teamed again to compete in a Triple Threat Scareway To Hell Ladder match against Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) and the reigning NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Io Shirai & Zoey Stark.[8][9] She won her first victory in WWE on the November 16 episode of NXT, defeating Gabby Stephens & Jenny Levy in a two-on-one handicap match.[10] Her final television match of the year was made on the November 30 episode of NXT during which she teamed with Indi Hartwell in a tag match against Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon. On the December 7 episode of NXT, Persia was in a backstage segment with Dexter Lumis, Indi Hartwell, and Johnny Gargano. This would be The Way's last appearance together as after that, The Way disbanded.

Pirotta returned on the January 11, 2022 episode of NXT, during which she teamed with Indi Hartwell & Wendy Choo in a tag match against Amari Miller, Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter.[11] In the following weeks, Pirotta and Hartwell started a feud with Toxic Attraction which resulted in a match for women's tag team titles at Vengeance Day where they were unsuccessful in winning the match.[12]
