Toxic Attraction is a villainous American professional wrestling stable currently performing in WWE on the NXT brand. The group is led by Mandy Rose and is also composed of Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Rose is the current NXT Women's Champion, while Dolin and Jayne are currently the NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, all in their first reigns.

Background[]

Rose has been contracted by the WWE since 2015 and debuted in the NXT brand in 2017 before moving to the Raw brand to form the Absolution stable with Sonya Deville and Paige before dissolving in 2018, though Deville and Rose continued to wrestle as a duo until 2020.

Dolin competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic before signing with the WWE in 2021 while Jayne also signed a year prior. Both women previously competed in the independent circuit.

History[]

On the July 13, 2021 episode of NXT, Rose returned to NXT, and scouted a match between Sarray and Dolin, and witnessed as Sarray defeated Dolin.[1] The following week, Rose appeared at ringside during the match between Jayne and Franky Monet, and watched as Monet defeated Jayne.[2] On the August 10 episode of NXT, Dolin and Jayne joined forces, as Jayne accompanied Dolin for her match against Amari Miller, in which Dolin emerged victorious.[3]

On the August 31 episode of NXT, Dolin and Jayne accompanied Rose for her match against Sarray, in which Rose lost via count-out after she was led away by Dolin and Jayne after Rose was dropkicked by Sarray. The following week, Rose, Dolin and Jayne attacked both NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Io Shirai and Zoey Stark, and Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter, thus establishing themselves as heels. On the debut episode of NXT 2.0 on September 14, Dolin and Jayne faced Carter and Catanzaro in a tag-team match, which ended in no contest after Rose interfered, during which she debuted a new dark-haired look, and they subsequently wrestled Carter, Catanzaro and Sarray in a six-woman tag team match, in which Rose, Dolin and Jayne emerged victorious.[4] The following week, the trio named themselves "Toxic Attraction" and exclaimed that they were the future of NXT's women's division and they were tired of the disrespect from the fans and wrestlers alike.[5]

Following this, Rose began feuding with NXT Women's Champion Raquel González, while Dolin and Jayce began feuding with Io Shirai and Zoey Stark over the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship. On the September 28 episode of NXT 2.0, Dolin and Jayne challenged Shirai and Stark for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship in a losing effort. However, in the main event post-match, Toxic Attraction would attack The Robert Stone Brand (, Robert Stone, and Franky Monet), and González. At NXT: Halloween Havoc, Dolin and Jayne defeated Shirai and Stark, and Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta in a Scareway to Hell Ladder triple threat tag team match for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship, marking the first championships for both Dolin and Jayne in the company. Later that same night, Rose defeated González for the NXT Women's Championship, marking Rose's first title in her career and making Toxic Attraction the first stable to simultaneously hold all the titles in the NXT women's division in one night. On January 4, at New Year's Evil, Mandy retained her NXT Women's Championship against Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez in a triple threat match. [6][7] On the February 8 episode of NXT, Rose defended her title again, this time against Kay Lee Ray. On NXT Vengeance Day, Gigi and Jacy retained their NXT Women's Tag Team Championships against Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta.
