A mid sized shrub from 2 to 3 metres tall. Leaves are narrow elliptical to oval in shape, 2.5 to 7 cm long, and 10 to 25 mm wide. Leaves shiny on top and a whitish woolly texture underneath. Small creamy yellow flowers form in spring and summer. The original specimens were collected at Back Creek, near Canungra by Cyril White in 1931.
