Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT) is an engineering institute in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1]

The institute is approved by the All India Council For Technical Education and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University.

The institute provides B.Tech. degree courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Law studies.

This Institute also has courses like [Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)], and [Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA)]. And these Course are affiliated to well renowned university named CSJMU or Kanpur University This Institute has several branches like 1- PSIT College of Higher Education 2- PSIT College of Engineering 3- PSIT College of Pharmacy and more.

It also provides postgraduate courses MBA and MCA.[citation needed]

The institute has faced major controversy involving an engineering student who was ragged by seniors. The victim's father lodged an FIR on the charge of attempt to murder (Section 307 of IPC) and under other relevant sections of UP Prohibition of Ragging in Educational Institutions Act, Superintendent of Police.
