Princess Rahma bint Hassan (born 13 August 1969) is a Jordanian princess. Her father is Prince Hassan bin Talal. Her mother, Princess Sarvath El Hassan, is of Pakistani-Bengali descent.[1][2]

In July 1997, she married Alaa Batayneh,[2] the son of Arif Al Batayneh, one of Jordan's . Her husband is the country's current Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. They have two children together:[citation needed]

Career[]
Princess Rahma's work presently involves education and sports.[2] She is President of the Jordan Gymnastics Federation.[3]
