Prisojnica (Macedonian: Присојница) is a village in the municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuša, North Macedonia.

Demographics[]

Prisojnica has traditionally been inhabited by a Muslim Macedonian (Torbeš) population.[1]

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 315 inhabitants.[2] Ethnic groups in the village include:[2]

  • The majority of people that identified themselves as "Bosniaks", "Albanians" and "Turks" are in reality Macedonians Muslims who declared themselves in this way due to political and religious reasons.
