Putnamville is an unincorporated community in Warren Township, Putnam County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.^[3]

History[]

Putnamville was laid out in 1830.^[4] The community took its name from Putnam County.^[5] A post office called Putnamville has been in operation since 1832.^[6]

Geography[]

Putnamville is located along U.S. Route 40 at the intersection of State Road 243, at
