Qazvin County (Persian: شهرستان قزوین) is a county in Qazvin Province in Iran. Its capital is Qazvin. At the 2006 census, its population was 99,841, in 24,971 families.[1] It consists of five districts: Central, Tarom Sofla, Alamut-e Gharbi, Alamut-e Sharghi, and Kuhin. It has seven cities: Qazvin, Eqbaliyeh, Mahmudabad Nemuneh, Moallem Kalayeh, Razmian, Kuhin, and Sirdan. Persians, Azeris and Tats are the largest ethnic groups of people.[2][3]
