Qiaocheng East station (simplified Chinese: 侨城东站; traditional Chinese: 僑城東站; Jyutping: Kiu4 Sing4 Dung1 Zaam6; lit. 'Overseas Chinese Town East station'), formerly Qiaochengdong station, is a station on Line 1 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 December 2004. It is located underground at Shennan Dadao (Chinese: 深南大道), west of Qiaochengdong Lu (simplified Chinese: 侨城东路; traditional Chinese: 僑城東路) and east of Xiaoshahe Lu (Chinese: 小沙河路), in Futian District, Shenzhen, China. It is near the east end of Splendid China Folk Village (simplified Chinese: 锦绣中华; traditional Chinese: 錦綉中華) and Overseas Chinese Town (simplified Chinese: 华侨城; traditional Chinese: 華僑城),[1] hence its name.
