Reem Alabali-Radovan (born 1990) is a German politician and Member of the Bundestag for the Social Democratic Party. She also currently serves as Minister of State at the Chancellery and Federal Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration in Chancellor Olaf Scholz's cabinet since 2021.
Early life[]
She was born in Moscow to Assyrian immigrants from Iraq who later moved to Germany.[1] She graduated from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and the Free University of Berlin.[2]
Political career[]
She was elected at the 2021 German federal election in Schwerin – Ludwigslust-Parchim I – Nordwestmecklenburg I in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.[3]
