The Republican and Socialist Left (French: Gauche républicaine et socialiste, GRS) is a socialist political party in France.[1] It was founded as the Alternative for a Republican, Ecologist and Socialist Program (APRÉS) on 19 October 2018 after several members split from the Socialist Party, and took on its current name after joining forces with the Citizen and Republican Movement on 3 February 2019.
