Richards is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Grimes County, Texas, United States located on Farm roads 1486 and 149 and the Burlington-Rock Island line in east central Grimes County.

The Richards Independent School District and Montgomery Independent School District serve area students.

Climate[]

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Richards has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[1]
