Robert Worrincy (born 9 July 1985) is an English retired rugby league and rugby union footballer. He played as a winger for the Sheffield Eagles, Halifax, and Dewsbury Rams.

Background[]

Worrincy was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. He is of Anglo-Nigerian-Welsh heritage.

He is the elder brother of the rugby league player; Michael Worrincy.

Career[]

Worrincy played for Castleford Tigers (Heritage № 812) in the Super League, and was previously with the London Broncos and Hull FC. He had previously played for the Sheffield Eagles and Halifax in the Kingstone Press Championship during separate spells. In November 2017 he signed to play for Dewsbury Rams.[3] In 2021, while at Sheffield, Worrincy announced his retirement from the game.[4] He scored a try in the last minute of his final game in 78-10 loss at Featherstone Rovers.
