Rodden is a village and a former municipality in the district Saalekreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 31 December 2009, it is part of the town Leuna.

The name Rodden is known to have originated from Drumchapel, Glasgow (Scotland). A large family split up all over Glasgow

The name Rodden was originally thought to be founded somewhere in Germany in the early 19th century.
