S. S. Sivasankar

S. S. Sivasankar (born July 3, 1969) is an Indian politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu from Kunnam Constituency including Sendurai from 2021-till now. A very humble and calm headed person who reaches each and every individuals in his constituency and fulfill their needs, made him a hero among the people of his constituency. He is rightly rewarded with a position in the government's cabinet for the amount of hardwork he had put in for the party in his district by the honorable chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin. He is currently serving as a minister in the Tamil Nadu cabinet for the Backward Classes Welfare, Most Backward Classes Welfare and Denofied Communities Welfare department [1][2]

Career[]

Previously, he was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Andimadam constituency in 2006 election[3] He is an engineering graduate from Annamalai University. His father S. Sivasubramanian is a former Member of Parliament and Member of Legislative Assembly.
