Saiju Kurup (born 12 March 1979) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and occasionally in Tamil cinema. He debuted in the critically acclaimed movie Mayookham (2005) by Hariharan. As of June 2021, he has starred in over 100 films as the main lead, villain and supporting role. His role as Arackal Abu in the 2015 comedy movie Aadu developed into a cult following along with the movie.[1]
Early life and education[]
Kurup was born at Panavally, Cherthala. But he did his schooling at St. Joseph's Convent High School, Kamptee, and at St. Francis De'Sales High School, Nagpur, Maharashtra. He then had his education from St. Francis De Sales College, Nagpur, and from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur.
Personal life[]
Kurup married Anupama on 12 February 2005. The couple have a daughter and a son.[2]
