San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) is a private for-profit college with seventeen locations in California and an online division. SJVC was founded in 1977 by Robert and Shirley Perry. The college offers certificates, Associate of Science degrees, and continuing education opportunities in the medical, dental, veterinary, criminal justice, and industrial trade fields.

SJVC is owned by San Joaquin Valley College, Inc. (SJVCi), which was incorporated on May 14, 1979.

History[]

In 2004, SJVC opened the Hanford extension of the Visalia campus[1] as well as the Online division[citation needed], enabling SJVC to offer career training programs throughout the United States. In the same year, SJVC opened its Modesto campus.
