Sandeep Baswana is an Indian television actor notable for portraying the character of Sahil Virani in Ekta Kapoor's longest running TV series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus and Ishwar Rawat in Mahesh Bhatt's social drama Udaan on Colors TV.[1][2]

Career[]

Baswana made his television debut with the show 'Kuchh Jhuki Palkain' and followed up with Kkoi Dil Mein Hai. As both shows were successful daytime serials, Baswana became noticed. However, it was his portrayal of the character Sahil Virani in the successful show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that established his career and made him a household name. Since then Baswana has done several cameo's in other shows playing supporting roles. He then played the role of Munna, the leading actress(Indira/hitler didi)'s brother, in Zee TV's show Hitler Didi. In 2014, he appeared in television serial Udaan, where he portrayed the role of Ishwar Rawat, an honest and free-spirited collector from Lucknow who sacrifices his life for bonded girl named Chakor for her liberty. Presently, he is playing the role of Kulwinder Singh in the serial Parvarrish - Season 2.
