Sant'Egidio del Monte Albino (Campanian: San Gilje) s a town and comune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of southern Italy. The town is commonly known also in the abbreviated naming form of Sant'Egidio Montalbino.
Geography[]
Located at the feet of the Monti Lattari, the town is bordered by Angri, Corbara, Pagani, San Marzano sul Sarno and Tramonti.
Main sights[]
Sights include the so-called Fonte Helvius, a Roman marble slab portraying the god : it contains a fountain fed by an ancient subterranean aqueduct.
