General Sarkis Khan Davidkhanian

Sarkis Khan Davidkhanian (1846-) was an Iranian General during the Qajar era and the founder of the modern Iranian Postal System, and a member of the Davidkhanian family.[1]

Career and family[]

Like many of his relatives in the Davidkhanian family, such as Generals Martiros Khan Davidkhanian and Eskandar Khan Davidkhanian, Sarkis Khan Davidkhanian served as a high-ranking General in the Persian army.[2]

His son was General Meguertitch Khan Davidkhanian, the Governor of Dezful.[3]
