Satti

The Satti (Urdu: ستّى) are a tribe found mainly in Kotli Sattian an administrative divison of Rawalpindi District, Kahuta and other adjoining areas of Murree Punjab, Some of them moved to Pakistan after the Indian Partition in 1948. Some Scattered families living in Italy & Greece use the word Satti with their names but their origion & affiliation with the tribe is not confirmed. Same goes with some residents off Indian Punjab.[1]
