Sean Young (born 20 April 2001) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Pacific FC.

Early life[]

Young was born in Victoria, British Columbia.[1] At youth level, he played for Pacific Coast Soccer League side Vancouver Island Wave, winning the provincial title at the U16 level in 2017.[1]

Club career[]

Victoria Highlanders Reserves[]

In 2018, Young played for Victoria Highlanders Reserves in the Pacific Coast Soccer League, scoring one goal and helping the team to a second place finish in the league table. He played in both PCSL cup games losing in the final to Vancouver United.[2]

Westcastle United[]

In winter 2018–19, Young played for Vancouver Island Soccer League side Westcastle United, helping the club win the 2019 Jackson Cup.[2]

Victoria Highlanders[]

On 23 April 2019, Young signed with the Victoria Highlanders first team.[2] He made twelve appearances that season and scored a goal against Portland Timbers U23s on 19 May 2019.[3]

Pacific FC[]

On 23 July 2020, Young signed his first professional contract with his hometown club, Canadian Premier League side Pacific FC.[1] In October 2020 Young re-signed with Pacific for the 2021 season.[4]
