PLP[]

Seycove Secondary is home to the Performance Learning Program, an academically rigorous mainstream magnet program that challenges learners in grades 8 to 12.

With a focus on deeper learning, students master core academic content, think critically to solve complex problems, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and develop academic and growth mindsets.[citation needed]

PLP differs from mainstream school in its focus on using technology, namely iPads and other Apple products, as learning tools, its real-world learning opportunities through global field studies and international meetings and through its use of project-based learning.[citation needed]

Grade eight, nine and ten PLP students receive Humanities (English and Social Studies), Maker (ADST), Scimathics (Science and Math) and PGP (Personal Growth Planning) credits and grade eleven and twelve students receive English, History and PGP Credits. PGP and Scimathics courses are not guaranteed to be offered each year.[1][better source needed]
