Shōō (勝央町, Shōō-chō) is a town located in Katsuta District, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.

In April 2017, the town had an estimated population of 11,237 and a density of 210 per square kilometre (540/sq mi).[1] The total area is 54.09 square kilometres (20.88 sq mi).

Shōō is said to be the place where Kintarō died.
