Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) is a shariah compliant private commercial bank headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1]

History[]

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited started operation on May 10, 2001, under Bank Company Act 1991.[1] It has 132 branches around the country. The bank listed in both Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange in 2007.[2][3]

The Bank officially launched e-account banking on 24 March 2021. The service enables customer to open an e-account easily and securely by staying home in the fastest time.[4]
