South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank Limited (SBAC) is a private commercial bank headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] It incorporated in 2013 as a banking company under Companies Act, 1994 and is regulated under the Banking Companies Act, 1991.[2] The bank has network of 82 branches and 6 sub-branches around the country.[3]

History[]

South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank Limited started its operation since April 28, 2013 obtaining license from Bangladesh Bank.[4]

Management[]

SBAC has a board of 18 members headed by Abdul Kadir Molla[5][6]as chairman. Al-Haj Mizanur Rahman[7] acts as vice-chairman of the board of directors. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed has been working as managing director and CEO of the banks since 2021.[8]
