Shakhenat Rural District (Persian: دهستان شاخنات) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Birjand County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,105, in 1,086 families.[1] The rural district has 13 villages.
