SINGfest is one of the major music festivals held in Singapore,[1] which features international acts from diverse genres. The largest live contemporary music event in Southeast Asia,[citation needed] it is usually held in early August for two consecutive days and is currently in its third year running after taking a break in 2009 due to alleged financial troubles. The festival is organized by Midas Promotions.
SINGfest 2010 will take place from the 3rd to 5 August 2010 after a no-show in 2009. This time, SINGfest would take place over a span of three days instead of two. Some of the confirmed acts include Thirty Seconds to Mars, Kanye West, Katy Perry, The Smashing Pumpkins and Orianthi.
