Skotniki [skɔtˈniki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zgierz, within Zgierz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Zgierz and 8 km (5 mi) north of the regional capital Łódź.[1]

The village has a population of 398.
