The SBC (Social Business Channel) was the first thematic television channel for the economy in Greece. The station began operating in December 2005 and broadcast many programs on the market, the economy and traffic, in Greek and international markets. Originally started as a Satellite Business Channel and later became Social Business Channel.

It was also made interviews, which occupied the Media, as the governor of Bank of Greece George Provopoulos, the head of the ASPIS Group (Aspis) Psomiadi Paul, the former economy minister Giorgos Papakonstantinou, the CEO of Hellas Sat Christodoulos Protopapas, Doctor of Law.

Coverage[]
In its first years of its operation, SBC also broadcast on analog terrestrial, as a regional television station in the Prefecture of Attica, pirated, often obtaining a temporary license, but never a legal one.
In its first years of operation, in 2005 with the name Satellite Business Channel as it broadcast on satellites were considered to be the continuation of the former national television station Tempo TV, because it suddenly came out of its proportional frequency from the center of Hymettus (22 UHF), two years after its final closure in 2003 (but this is not the case, because the two channels were different companies).
In its second start, it broadcast from two broadcasting centers, Parnitha (49 UHF) and Hymettus (35 UHF) from where it was broadcast on Local TV (now Nickelodeon) and at the same time illegally from the second frequency of Hymettus (22 UHF) which had been granted to the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation to broadcast the Parliament channel from Aegina (50 UHF).
On June 15, 2010, the SBC broadcast will take place only online following a decision by the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission to suspend its television broadcast by Hymettus. The closure of the station brought a storm of reactions from viewers and investors, leading to the unemployment of 80 employees.
In July 2010, after the impending shutdown of SBC by Local TV, the second station changed ownership and on July 12, returned to its old frequencies (35 and 49 UHF) and to its old name, rebroadcasting Nickelodeon. On July 31, former SBC executives entered into discussions with Channel 9 in order for the first to temporarily broadcast through the frequency of the latter, covering 30% of the time, while on September 3, Local TV was converted to the current Greek version of Nickelodeon. In the end, Channel 9 decided to broadcast instead, a program with original financial broadcasts, performed by the mentioned executives and headed by Panagiotis Bousborelis, who had also left the station.
On January 14, 2013, Sunny Channel (now Alert TV), had signed a contract with SBC for the commercial management and operation of the channel, something that is strictly prohibited by law. However, on February 2, SBC resumed broadcasting on the channel's frequency.
On August 1, 2014, SBC is required by law to broadcast only digitally through the Digea terrestrial platform from 13 broadcast centers in Attica and Evia, while a year later, Digea then permanently cut off the transmission of SBC, resulting in the channel being split for to bring back the Sunny Channel which in the spring of 2016 was renamed Alert TV.
On March 8, 2018, the Greek National Council for Radio and Television did not recognize the right of legal operation of SBC, as a result of which it ordered Digea to stop the terrestrial transmission of the station, something that happened on the night of June 20.
However, the station continued to be broadcast online and via satellite via COSMOTE TV, and after three months, two weeks and four days (October 8), the SBC program began to be broadcast live on Attica TV until today.
