Soul of a Woman is the debut studio album by American singer Kelly Price. It was released by Island Records on August 11, 1998 in the United States and debuted at number fifteen on the Billboard 200. The album's most popular single and Price's biggest hit so far was "Friend of Mine", which tells the story of a woman whose husband cheated on her with her best friend earned Price a Grammy Award nomination. Soul of a Woman was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). As of 2003, it has sold 1.13 million copies.[1]
