Stand Up is the third Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, it was released on August 8, 2008. The EP sold over 200,000 copies,[2] supported by the popularity of the number one hit single "Day by Day" (Korean: 하루하루, Revised Romanization: Haru Haru).[3] "Day by Day" became one of the most successful singles of all-time in South Korea, selling over 5.4 million digital downloads in the country alone.[4]
Background[]
Teasers for the album was released on August 1, including the announcement that Japanese DJ Daishi Dance had collaborated with the group on a song.[5] Released on August 8, 2008, the EP debuted at the number two position,[6] selling more than 30,000 copies in two days,[7] and selling 100,000 units in two weeks.[8] It eventually sold over 200,000 copies.[2]
