Tenman-gū (天満宮) is a Shinto shrine which enshrines Sugawara no Michizane as Tenjin. There are about 14,000 such shrines in Japan; famous examples include:

• Dazaifu Tenman-gū (Dazaifu, Fukuoka) -- One of the Sōhonsha (head shrines) of Tenman-gū
• Kitano Tenman-gū () -- Another Sōhonsha of Tenman-gū
• (Nagaokakyo, Kyoto)
• (Onomichi, Hiroshima)
• Ōsaka Tenman-gū (Kita-ku, Osaka)
• Hōfu Tenman-gū (Hofu, Yamaguchi)
• Yabo Tenman-gū (Kunitachi, Tokyo)
• Yamada Tenman-gū, Nagoya
• Yushima Tenman-gū (Bunkyo, Tokyo)
• Kameido Tenjin Shrine (Koto, Tokyo)

A group of three notable shrines has been called the Three Great Tenjin Shrines.
