The Interpretaris is an Australian science fiction television series which first screened on the ABC in 1966. It was later also screened on the Seven Network. It was part of a trilogy with spin-offs Vega 4 in 1966 and Phoenix Five in 1970.

Plot[]

The Interpretaris is a spacecraft which is the flagship of the World Council fleet. The series is set over 500 years in the future, with the Earth at the centre of a peaceful federation of planets under the jurisdiction of the World Council. The crew on the mission was headed by a European Commander Alan De Breck, an Australian pilot David Charmichael and Russian crew member Vera Balovna.[1]
