The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye (Japanese: 夏へのトンネル、さよならの出口, Hepburn: Natsue no Tonneru, Sayonara no Deguchi) is a Japanese light novel written by Mokune Hachi and illustrated by Kukka, published by Shogakukan under its Gagaga Bunko imprint in July 2019. A manga adaptation, titled The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye: Ultramarine, illustrated by Koudon, started in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X in July 2020.

Light novel[]

The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye, written by Mokune Hachi and illustrated by Kukka, was released by Shogakukan under its Gagaga Bunko imprint on July 18, 2019.[2]

In July 2021, Seven Seas Entertainment announced that they had licensed the light novel for English release in North America in July 2022.[3]

Manga[]

A manga adaptation, The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye: Ultramarine (夏へのトンネル、さよならの出口　群青, Natsue no Tonneru, Sayonara no Deguchi Gunjō), illustrated by Koudon, started its serialization in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X on July 18, 2020.[4] Shogakukan has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on December 18, 2020.[5] As of March 18, 2021, two volumes have been released.[6]

In July 2021, Seven Seas Entertainment announced that they had licensed the manga for English release in North America, to start publishing in July 2022.[3]
